Ann's Problem

Spoilers.
Ok, so does anyone want to discuss Ann? I loved this film. The acting, soundtrack, and overall tone was amazing. It was interesting, unique, characters had great chemistry, etc yet I feel I didn't fully grasp what the film was trying to say..
I believe it's definitely partly that appearances are not what they seem. But I wanted to talk specifically about Ann. She was very concerned about her appearance as stated by Graham. She couldn't orgasm, was this because she was afraid of looking like her sister? What was it that made her finally okay with her sexuality? Was it Graham? Her husband cheating and her reality crashing all around her? Finally not giving a *beep* about how she appeared to others? All of this? I want to better understand the character, anyone have an opinion on the subject?

I was re-reading the original script book last night. In it, it is very clear she does not want to be seen as promiscuous like Cynthia.

I think she had lost track of what she really wanted, and deciding to get involved physically with Graham helped her get in touch with a certain type of reality.

In what twisted universe is uploading photos of vampires to my blog "not really vocational"?
