I havent seen this movie, but still I HATE IT!!!

It seems that every time I flip trough a magazine, be it about sports or current affairs or whatever, there's always a story with a title that is a variation of "Sex, Lies, and Videotape". You think I'm exaggerating? No, it's almost every time. Today I pick't up the latest Canal + TV guide and there's a story about "Rome". Wanna know what the title was? "Sex, lies, and warlords". I'm not kidding, some *beep* thought that if he replace the word videotape with something that he'd come up with, then he'd be a really clever bloke. Well that's just great. It's havent been done, but only like million times!!! It's not enought that their subtitle's are always *beep* up, they too are obsessed with this movie. FU Canal + and FU everybody that uses this dumbass clishee.

I bet right now some douche bag is finishing his ducumentary about different cheeses called "Sex, Lies, and Cheese's" - if this is the case I wouldn't be that surprised. This is what it has come down to. Nobody uses their imagination anymore. I dont care if you'r a some second rate blogger nobody or a serious journo working for the... i dunno New Yourk *beep* Times, if you come up with a title that begins with Sex, lies and... then you'r a friggin a-hole!!!!!

Has the whole world gone insane?!?! I mean, havent anybody else noticed how god damned stupid this is? Why is everybody so hell bent on using this line? I'm fed up! I cant take it anymore. Would everebody please just stop using this idiotic line? I swear, the next time I see it being used, i'm going destroy some public property.

I wouldn't mind if the headlines were witty, but most of them are not. I read a newspaper article about whether it is good or bad for personal assistants to be attractive, and they illustrated it with a picture from "Secretary". I cut out the article and I wrote "Secs' lives are stereotyped" under it. I thought that was funny as it was a genuine pun and included a pun on the word "videotape". I don't like headlines that just stick any rubbish on to "sex, lies and ...". A lot of films and news stories involve sex and lies. It's the videotape pun that counts.

But the original poster should consider watching the film, if only to be able to add, "And I HATED that film" to the original rant!

I think you are the one who is insane. You say nobody uses their imagination anymore? See the movie. It takes imagination not only to write something like Sex, Lies, and Videotape, but imagination to watch it and take the story in.

In any case, view a film before you say that you hate it.

most of the time headlines and titles are made up by editors, not the writer of the article. So blame editors for their hackness. Also, this is a great film, so please see it before you make judgements.
