shareI just rewatched this movie for the first time in 20 years. Yeah, Billy crystal can be funny, but seeing his wimpy face stare at Meg when they are at the first New Year’s Eve party, and he says “ you wanna get some fresh air?” They stare at each other for a beat on the patio/balcony.
I mean, his face is so dorky! But this movie wouldn’t have made sense with a strong leading man like Quiade, Hanks, etc. it really needed a neurotic Jew type dude to pull off all those ramblings about life and relationships. It’s fucking Hollywood. They are never gonna doing anything realistic. Even documentaries are half fake usually.
The older Crystal gets..the more jewish he looks.
