You've Got Mail and Sleepless in Seattle. Of course, I do find her attractive which doesn't hurt.
shareshe's pretty close to being the most annoying actress ever. I can't think of who is more annoying but one must exist.
shareNo one, no one, no one is more annoying than "the Nanny" Fran Drescher.

Ok I'll give you that, but annoying is what Fran is going for, her sthick. Meg's sthick is cute and lovable yet she is naturally and extremely annoying. For that reason Meg Ryan earns the title "the most annoying actress who ever walked this earth".
got that right
Rosie Perez is 10X more annoying as Meg or Fran

How about Julia Roberts with that flat nose and bad teeth. How about Cher, Susan Sarandon, Barbra Streisand and Fran Drescher just to name a few.
shareMeg Ryan is a very attractive woman. I just saw this film in a long time and Ryan did a good job and was perfect for the role of Sally.
shareAnd, of course, that's just merely your opinion.... so, why try to change your mind if it's already made up with the statement of "Meg Ryan, possibly the most annoying actress ever to walk this earth."

No, I totally agree with you. Preparation H does feel good... on the hole.
Interesting a post like this because many years ago I first saw her on As The World Turns playing Betsy Stewart. I was so used to the first actress who played her from childhood to age 20 that when Meg took over the role she changed the character totally and I couldnt stand her. For the longest time I just was annoyed by her way and I thought the same thing that she was always this goofy over the top type of zany personality.
I am not sure which movie made me change my mind but it could have been "When Harry Met Sally". After all those yrs of not being able to stand her I suddenly found her charming and cute. I do agree she is pretty. In that movie she is good. But I also enjoyed her in "You've Got Mail" and "Sleepless in Seattle" (even though in that movie she has minor appearances and only shows up majorly at the end). ANother movie I felt she was good in that showed more of an emotional depth and not mentioned so far was "City of Angels". It was good to see her do something with more emotion. I have not seen some of the others mentioned. As a matter of fact these I mentioned and "Joe Versus the Volcano" & her small bit part in I think her first Hollywood movie "Amityville Horror part 2 or 3" are the only movies I've seen her in.
She was completely different in " Hurly Burly " ! . I don't like her character in that film, though. I do think she is better in romantic comedies.
shareIQ...most underrated movie ever and wonderful, funny and touching.
