Feminists would've kidnapped the director and threatened to kill him unless every copy of the movie was destroyed. Then they would've killed him. I'm not an MRA and I have no problem with Sally slapping Harry, I know it's just a movie. I'm just saying the double standards are incredible.
shareWell if it makes you feel better that's my least favourite scene. It was totally uncalled for. I've personally never slapped a guy across the face and I've dated some real jerks. Maybe things were different in the 80s but that's not exactly acceptable behaviour today.

Usually what you seem to be implying doesn't happen. There is not
a problem in society with female on male violence. Not to say it
doesn't happen every, but it is not the rule, and it is not a major
sociological problem. That is not a double standard.
It is a double standard if a man slapping a woman is considered wrong, and a woman slapping a man is considered okay.
