What happened in the end?
can someone tell me what happened after they started swimming in the ocean with the dead body? I missed the ending and I'm curious how the story turned out...
okey let me concentrate,the guys took Bernie and they put in the room, minutes later Tina show up and she had sex with Bernie, yes sex with a dead guy, and i don't remember what hapened but Paulie came to the house and shot Bernie again and Larry beat him, then comes the end, they are with Gwen in the beach and and Bernie falls sitting down just behind them from the stretcher, and a girl says something like "bye Bernie i'll see you in the party tonight" and Larry ,Richard, and Gwen turn ther heads at the same time and run out screaming, then the kid who buryed Bernies says to him " hey mister can i bury you again" and bernie falls in to the sand, and the kid star to bury him.
something like that, i don't remember every little thing , and i suck as a writer.
Yes, it happened exactly as 'Tetor' described above, but he left out the part where the paramedics came by the house picked up Bernie's corpse; the cops arrested the hitman; and the when the ambulance get ready to take off, it's backdoor opens and the gurney carrying Bernie's body falls out, rools down a pier, and drops Bernie's body in the sand, by the beach where the ending 'Tetor' describes happens.
Shortly, after this events, a day or 2 later "Weekend at Bernie's 2" picks-up. Andrew McCarthy (Larry)'s hair looks a bit longer in the sequel, but the story continues with Bernie's body being transported to the city morgue in NYC, not North Hampton island, or the nearby Port City.
