it sounds like 'kudo nuto'. what is that? is that Italian? I'd love to know. it's been bugging me for 20 years. thank you in advance.

The Italian word is pronounced "cornuto". In English it means "cukold". A man who fools around with a married woman. Paulie also gives the symbol of this word with his hand, the devil's horns.
