Synopsis:
Bernie invites our twosome up to his ski lodge with the intention of murdering them because they have unwittingly stumbled across his scheme to defraud his own company. But when Bernie's co-conspirators decide to kill the boss instead, our bumbling heros must keep up the ruse of Bernie still being alive in order to enjoy their weekend and cover their asses.

It's not trampling over anything. If WaB3 does happen it will probably suck - but that doesn't "trample" the "legacy" of the other two movies. Who cares if they make a Poppins remake? Yes the first movie is excellent and it would be very difficult to top, but if they want to be stupid and try, whatever. If it turns out to be horrible then don't see it.
Rocky Balboa showed us that these seemingly ridiculous sequels to decades-old franchises are not necessarily a bad idea.

The only possible redeeming quality of this film would be to see Bernie skiing. It wouldn't be the same without Terry Kiser, though.
