Ok, I obviously don't really think this film is pure genius. Actually it pretty cack. Make that very cack. But there were no messages here for it so I thought I'd give it a confidence boost to stop it feeling lonely.
I can think of nothing intelligent to say about this film so I won't and I'll go back to writing about good films.

This film IS pure genius. It's very cleverly acted by Terry Kiser in the title role of Bernie. This is a real barrel of laughs. SEE IT!!!!!!!

shareactually i thought this was a great cornball comedy. silverman and mcarthy's chemistry is hilarious, and there are so many little stupid things that crack me up.
it's not the best movie of all time, but it's a great sunday afternoon "blowing off steam" movie.

ive enjoyed watching this movie since i was a little kid and it only gets better. i bought it at wally world for $5.50 the other day. its the best deal ive got on a dvd in a long time. i love all the late 80's comedy. i just wish that there were more. if anyone knows a good 80's comedy please post it so i can rent it.
