I was reading this today on MSN Celebrity Gossip...

HBO reportedly balked and decided to dump the project altogether. Still, Cattrall, who is currently shooting "The Ice Princess" for Disney, insists that she's available for more "Sex." "Kim would of course love to do the film and would be happy to revisit the project in the future," her mouthpiece tells the trade. No word on whether Kim is also considering "Troop Beverly Hills 2" or a promotional stop on QVC.

...the point is the last line. Has anyone else heard of them doing a second movie? I don't see it on here but...

I read that article as well, and there are references in the beginning about Cattrall becoming "the next Suzanne Somers or Shelley Long". It's some stupid joke which I don't understand, and I do not believe a 2nd movie is in the works.
