It is too bad they couldnt get Robyn Lively to play the mother. It would be nice to see her on screen again! I guess Ashley Tisdale could play this role well, I read on another post someone wanted Demi Lovatto. I think she is too young to play this part. So Ashley is the better for the part.

I think it would have been neat to use Blake Lively, Robyn's sister. And then give Robyn some sort of cameo as an aunt and make some subtle joke that pokes fun at the original.

I agree with URArobot. This is a cult-classic therefore it should be left alone. Ashley Tisdale is just going to mess this movie up, I'm have nightmares already!
