What a horrid teacher!

The english teacher...what a bastard, he deserved so much worse!! What possible lesson could he have thought Louise would learn from the way he targeted her? Reading her diary to the class, holding her birth control up for the class, etc. Like he resented the fact that she actually had a future! And did anyone notice Kiki giving him an "I hate you" look after he humiliated her in the beginning? I thought that was interesting...

When you're 17 a cow can seem dangerous and forbidden...am I alone here?

I agree. I loved it when Louise got her revenge on him though with the voodoo doll. That was a very funny scene !.

I wish teachers who get to that point would just throw in the towel. Stuff like that still happens, I'm sure, and I don't understand how any person can get their jollies humiliating a teenager like that. If you must, at least do it to the nasty entitled teenybopper types!

After you said that, I had to see it for myself cuz I didn't remember and I found the clip and you're right, she does give him a "I hate you" look at him. That is pretty interesting. My theory is that event though they weren't friends, she probably felt bad for her or just automatically sided with her because he was such a big creep much like how Andy, Claire, Brian, and Alison covered for Bender in The Breakfast Club cuz Vernon was a common enemy (so to speak).

I hated that teacher! When he was looking through Louise's purse was really creepy! He was holding up her birth control pills in front of everybody! What a jerk! The scene when she got her revenge on him with the voodoo doll was classic! 

I watched so much Golden Girls that when I was reading your quote I heard it in Rose Nylund's voice.

Also, that teacher was terrible, even in the 80s that wouldn't fly anywhere but that school
