I hate the Eighties, but there WAS a lot of sexiness about.

You just have to watch the "Top That!" clip to see the essence of the Eighties - nigh on unwatchable, watered down so much it's barely there any more rap from young, clean cut, fresh-faced white boys. There's plenty more of that in this movie, and of course when we think of the Eighties we think of the big shoulder pads and huge hair of the likes of Dynasty but....and I can only speak from a male point of view, but the "I Like Boys" sequence, wow! Those high-cut leotards and yes, masses of curls and waves - that was a VERY sexy look! The tight, short skirt/high top sneakers look was very appealing too, and I would never write off a decade that encouraged the wearing of OTT stilettoes.
