Didn't the Madame Selena lady show Louise a picture of a woman from the 1600's with the same last name and say "this is you"? How come Louise died and came back but Selena never did.... did it ever explain that?

Either Serena did or she had some way of making herself younger again. In the movie Serena says shes been "16 four times already". If she did die no idea why she kept the same name but Louise's changed.
