Shirley your 42 not 22 the time for adventures are over !

Well what can i say about "Shirley Valentine". I think theres a little bit of her in everyone, infact alot in me. I just love the film i have watched it over and over again when i need cheering up. Seems to give me the strenght that anything is possible if you want it. Shirley as been the wife the mother and the years have past her by, when deep down she wanted to do so much more with her "little life". When she went on holiday to greece she had reached paradise and began to find herself again, she had a tender moment with Costas, who did'nt want to make fxxk with her, but deep down Shirley wanted him to,it brought back the real Shirley "Shirley Valentine". We all knew when Shirley was leaving to go back home Costas would saying the same lines over and over again to middle aged tourists, but when Shirley came back she did'nt come back for him, she came back for herself and her new lease of life and why not, she had been alone back home even though she had Joe, Melandra & (cant remember her sons name was he called Brian?). I think Shirley was wonderful and the scene where she is drinking weak wine by the sea is truly lovely. I hope that when Joe came he stayed and they built a new life together.
