For those who read the book, the movie did no justice on how terrifying it was when Louis and Jud passed through Little God Swamp and made it to the Mic Mac buriel ground. I've reread that scene over and over in the book and I still get the chills.
Also, when Stanny B. took Jud to bury spot was just as scary!
Yep, totally agree. One of the scariest parts of the book.

shareI like the movie and saw it first as a kid then read the book when I got older. There's a TON of stuff from the book I was disappointed didn't make it in the film, and besides what's mentioned above, I would have liked to have seen the book version of Timmy Baterman...he was a million times creepier and not just a zombie as the movie portrays him. I also would have liked to see the end when Louis's boss find's Louis taking Rachel to the burying ground. I'm hyped for the "IT" remake (hope they get it right...) from what I've read it's supposed to be a 2 or 3 part movie so it should do the book justice, and although "IT" is an amazing book, I would rather see Pet Sematary re-made, but "IT" must have been more in popular demand, Pet Sematary is just my all time favorite book...I've read it several time's and it never gets old.

Completely agree about the book (Pet Sematary).
I just re-read it myself a few months ago and it was just as scary as when I first went through it (which was over twenty years ago).
