Soundtrack Question
When Anna is drawing the staircase toward the beginning of the film, there's a children's choral piece playing. Does anyone know what it is? Thank you!
shareThe song is by Gabriel Faure. It is called "Requiem: Sanctus." It was written along with other pieces of music for funerals shortly after the death of his parents. Another great song he did is called "Requiem: In Paradisum" You can listen to all these songs in 30 second clips for free at Itunes or Amazon. It is an interesting piece of music for that scene. Hope this helps.
shareIt's unfortunate that only a portion of that song appeared on the soundtrack CD, but at least there was a CD released -- check my posting on May 2004 and I list the tracks there .... if you get the soundtrack, you can re-create it on your own by adding in the orignal version of the song to make it complete!
