Fans of Paperhouse might be interested to know that it's cited (very briefly) in Ebert's review of "All the little animals." I'm glad because this I wish this amazing and original film could have received more critical attention.
shareOne of those films that one watches and thinks, this is really very good. And then 10 years later, you remember it and wonder why you haven't seen it again.
I remembered it recently, I'm not clear why. But I just bought the DVD and watched it once more. Quite brilliant and I found it very emotional to watch. To simply call it a 'horror' film as some have done does it a great injustice.
Had me in tears by the end, again...
