Interesting interview with Charlotte Burke from 1988.

Thanks for putting this interview with Charlotte online. It's the one and only interview with her I've ever seen, and after she made Paperhouse she never appeared in another film, or did interviews for the Paperhouse DVD extras or anything, so this was good to read.

Hopefully one day we'll get a blu ray release with a filmmakers commentary track from Bernard Rose & Charlotte? I won't hold my breath though.

The link doesn't work -- anyone have a copy of this?

Unfortunately the whole Paperhouse site (of which the interview was a part of) has disappeared. Great shame as it was nice site.
Havn't found the interview anywhere else yet and i didn't make a copy.

Wow THANK YOU! I love your site, it's fantastic! Where on earth did you get all this wonderful stuff? Do you pay for hosting, because I could host you or host a mirror on my server for free if you like. I LOVE Paperhouse:)

I wonder if they destroyed the original drawing of the house and the original pencil. Wouldn't that be so cool if they still existed? Super cool props.

Gah, I remember wearing my hair exactly like "Anna" does in the film back around 1986. The hairband and all. Charlotte looks so different in the interview photo, doesn't she?

Too bad there don't seem to be any interviews with Elliott from that time.

Have you tried contacting Charlotte at all? I've seen her FB but no idea if she would respond or talk about the film. Sure would be cool, though.
