Just for anyone who is curious he did pass away. But it was not due to suicide. It was due to becoming gravely ill from the side-effects of an anti-Malaria medication. He never fully recovered. Elliott died at the Royal Free Hospital, in Hampstead, England, on the 15th January 1994.

He did commit suicide as he had jumped out of the window of the hospital. His mother has explained this over on his IMDB board. The condition he had was caused by the malaria medication and he was ill for about two years. The question of whether he was acting on a delusion or knew what he was doing is really probably only known to those closest to him at the time, if they know. God bless him, dear lad. RIP Elliott.
