Just how deep was that pool?

Towards the end of the film, this girl (Yvonne or Alice) jumps off a diving board that turns into Freddy and she is plummeting to what looks to be at least 6 meters deep of water, about maybe 20-26 feet of a deep end. Now I've looked everywhere online via Google Image and can't find any standard swimming pools that go at least 20 feet deep. The only two pools that go deeper than usual was this pool in this Giraffe video (search "high diving giraffes" on YouTube) and the Nemo 33 pool in Belgium which is over 113 feet deep. There are also diving pools that go from 14-17 feet deep. Have pools with very deep ends disappeared in the past 25 years?

reply

It was a dream so I'm measurements were all out of whack.

So Freddy made the pool deeper than it really was?

reply

Sure, why not? Dreams are weird like that to begin with and Freddy can do pretty much whatever he wants in the Dream World.

Hahahahajajajahahhahahahahaha!!!!

Err, do you watch these films? A lot of it is set in 'dreams' yes? Wow

This is hard to say gently, but once something you're standing on turns into Freddy, you can say bye bye to the laws of physics until you wake up. NOES 101, really.
