Mark No!!!!!!!!

Did anyone laughed at the part??? Because I thought Alice's delivery of that line made me cringe and laugh at the same time because it wasn't believable and was a terrible delivery.

You're one of those ppl who would annoy me in a theater. I hate it when ppl laugh at things in movies that are not meant to be funny.

It's like there is a serious dramatic scene going on then a bunch of ppl burst out laughing, I'm like, WTF!!!???

And you're one of those losers that needs to shut up because it's a movie.....a really bad movie.

"you're one of those losers"

So you can sum up my entire character as a loser based on a comment on IMDB?

How do you know I'm a loser based on a couple of lines on IMDB?

"that needs to shut up because it's a movie"

And why do I need to "shut up"? Yeah I know it's a movie, but, isn't that the purpose of this forum, DISCUSSING the movie, so why do I need to shut up?

"it's a movie.....a really bad movie"

That is YOUR opinion and is all subjective, I know MANY ppl who love this particular movie, I think it's good. It doesn't mean we're LOSERS b/c have a slightly different opinion than YOU.

How can you sum up someone's entire character as a "loser" just for liking a certain movie, and discussing it on a forum that's MEANT for discussing it.

I'm sorry for my rant, but it's not a serious movie to take. All Nightmare On Elm street movies are not serious to take because they're cheesy horror movies. I love all of them, but you can't help but laugh at moments that are pure hysteria, especially when it comes to Freddy's dark sense of humor that adds a dark comedy element to the movies. Aside from that, the acting can be a hit or miss because again when it comes to slasher horror movies, they tend to be over the top and exaggerating (I.e. The Scream movies, they're a satire of that movie genre).

The only lines that, right off the bat, sorta strike me as corny to say the least is when Tyran says "Freddy's gonna get her!" AND when Kristen in part 4 says, "Rick we gotta go.... NOWWWWWWW" the way she says now is kinda cheesy.

BUT when you said that it just reminded me of going to the movies, getting REALLY into a dramatic scene and ppl in the audeince bursting out laughing at every line someone has, lines that are supposed to be serious.
And it happens practically every time I go to the movies, and I just don't see the humor lol

I know exactly what you mean. I think when people do that at horror movies, they are trying to impress everyone. Kind of like saying "Look at how tough I am because you're afraid of this movie and I'm not. You're all wimpy and I'm a big, strong badass." Almost like they feel they have to prove something to somebody.

I've been waiting for you, Ben.

reply

Exactly.

But ppl do it a lot at horror movies, drama movies, etc... Esp. like if there is a sad scene ppl will start laughing.

I remember ppl did it during Titanic at Jack's and Rose's final exchange, a bunch of stupid teen girls kept laughing and it spoils the feeling.

How is mark's death explained in real world? Shelves collapse on him?
They never found the second dose!

I've wondered that, and was always REALLY surprised Alice was not looked at as a suspect! Since they were there alone.

But All we have to go on really as the cop who said, "Nothing in the warehouse was up to code and it's a wonder they both weren't killed." So yeah I'm assuming it would look like he was crushed by falling shelves.

To answer your question Lichnost99, from what were led to believe about Marks Death in the real world, is that he bleeds to death.

How, im not so sure, but in his dreamworld death he is torn to pieces and ripped up by Freddy, so im led to believe he bled to death.
