I'm a fan of Alice; nursed a nice crush on her as a kid (and Lisa still looks incredible).

But going back and looking at these films as an adult showed me just how weak Lisa's acting is in part 4 (an overrated entry on the whole). She does a good job embodying Alice in tone, but she's not very strong as an actress in that one.

But as flat as she came off in much of 4, she counters in 5 with a pretty dynamic, grounded performance with surprising depth for a slasher pic. I'm very surprised how much she grew in such a short time.

She definitely played the character differently. Alice is more of an extrovert in Dream Child, and she did give a very good performance.

Pretty good, but her line delivery is cheesy at some points.

Both versions of the character are equally good but different.

Part 4 Alice is a more innocent girl and trying to find her voice and gaining courage.
Part 5 Alice has find her voice but now she's a protector a guardian.

So I love both but I think I'll take Part 4's alice over.
