That way we could have seen Nicolette Scorsese topless on the diving board like we did D’Angelo in the first movie.

Little extra sugar on top of an already entertaining movie.

I believe the reason we don't see Scorsese or D'Angelo starkers or at least topless is because it's a Christmas movie. If the same cast was used in a (say) Fourth of July sendup we would have seen one rack or the other, maybe both.
