Heard this was great, and people love this, and with a 7.5 rating on IMDB, you would think this would be something special, but I thought this was just ok.

There were a few laughs, and although there were some wacky and silly things, I did not find this movie that funny. Yes, it has heart, but that's not enough.

Home Alone 1 & 2 are still the kings of Christmas movies, in my humble view.

One time watch.

This used to be a 6.9. I'm guessing nostalgia jacked up the score. I think it's a decent Christmas movie though.

If you're from a younger generation, chances are, you won't appreciate the humor that relied alot on SNL back in the day in the lates 80's when SNL was funny, but I'm sure you'll tell me you were old enough and didn't care for the humor

I'm not the only one who believes this is overrated. I like the other Vacation movies much more.
