...if any of Christy Brown's brothers & sisters are still living, & if their actual first names are different from the names depicted in the movie? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes. I am Christy Brown in real life (typing with my left foot right now as we speak). All of my brothers and sisters are still alive, except for one of them is on life support because I kicked him in the head for making fun of my paintings (once again, with my left foot).
