How is Day-Lewis's win underrated? At the Oscars when he won, I remember the entire audience giving him a standing ovation. Not to mention the critics went ga-ga over his performance.

I guess his performance is underrated to viewers, but only because I am sure a lot of people have never even heard of the film. Which is a shame.

the greatest performance to win an Oscar!!! DD Lewis was totally amazing, and for one of the few times the Academy got it right!!!
