how long do they keep the young christy brown in this, is it long enough to meet the girl jenny tht he liked alot ?

Daniel Day Lewis takes over the role of Christy Brown about half an hour into the film. They didn't show him with any romantic interests as a young boy. They did show one girl named Rachel that he seemed to like but at that point he was about 17-18.

You mean what's silverware doing in the pancake drawer.

that little kid deserved an oscar for this role. he did an amazing job

Yes, a superb job. I mean, at such a young age, he pulled off that role amazingly! I agree, he deserved more.
