'Walk into the laahht. Single faahl.'

Years ago a friend and I were watching this and burst out laughing at Kris Kristofferson's horrible reading of this line near the end of the film. Always remembered it.

You have all these fururistic people telling the plane passengers, "Walk into the light. Single file", all proper and such. Then, in the middle of it all, you see Kris Kristofferson and hear him in his ol' lazy hickboy accent saying "Walk into the laahht. Single faahhl. Oscar winning performance!

Yes, a brilliant performance. :) The B-movieness of this movie either makes this movie worth watching or makes you want to turn it off, depending on your perspective. :)

"Never done once seen nohow need in a wife." is a line I really expected him to say to Louise at one point :(

Opinions are just onions with pi in them.

Reminds me of the famous 1982 Poltergeist line "Come to the light, Carol Ann!"
