I don't know why the industry is always citing Pulp Fiction and Tarantino as being Travolta's comeback. It was actually Look Who's Talking that brought him out of the slump he was in for most of the 80s, and put him back on the map.
shareUh huh.... and then his career went in the toilet again shortly after. This came out in 1989 and nothing much happened for him till PF came out in 1994. Furthermore while this was a respectable hit it has NOTHING on the phenomenon that Pulp Fiction was.
shareI was in 4th grade in 1994 and nobody gave a wet fart about Pulp Fiction. Look who's talking however is the pinnacle of all modern film making.

shareThe grade above me were definitely the biggest scumbags I ever knew. Used to beat the ever living crap out of us when we would beat them in street basketball. So imagine my surprise when one of them was on 'the First 48 stepping up/foul trouble" for getting his head blown off after a basketball game in Detroit. So I guess a love of Pulp Fiction makes sense.
