Licence Revoked conceptual poster images

Before this film became Licence To Kill it was originally titled; "Licence Revoked" and had promotional poster artwork from artist Robert Peak. They're extremely hard to find online so if figured i'd share the ones i came across for you all to take a gander and enjoy.

Heck, maybe somebody will be good enough to find better quality ones to put up on imdb.com itself as the original title posters of this movie later on or so etc?

Anyhow please enjoy!

Strange how the two women in the second poster look like Xenia and Natalya from Goldeneye, instead of Pam and Lupe?

Yeah, I noticed that. Dalton was going to star in GoldenEye as well, so maybe some of the original ideas for Licence to kill (or Licence Revoked) were put into GoldenEye.

Anyway, Awesome designs for the posters. I actually wish they used one of these. I love 'Licence to Kill' but none of the official posters are really amazing. They just look like typical action posters.

I think they were? Bond facing a corrupt and traitorous 006 seemed like a film fit for Timothy Dalton's Bond moreso than Pierce Brosnan's version of 007 James Bond.

Fans on youtube seem to share that sentiment as well!

GoldenEye being Brosnan's best Bond film is heavily ironic, as its obvious its content was intended for Timothy Dalton's James Bond instead. In terms of tone and storyline for a more seriously styled Bond. Brosnan's later Bond pictures didn't measure up to his first outing, very telling indeed isn't it!

Shame some of the artwork wasn't used. They would have fit nicely with the dark tone of the film.
