So why exactly does B. leave Lupe for Pam - because she's a gold digger?

And what was the thing with el presidente - why would Lupe get along, as he said, better with the president than with him?

Like - "Lupe, you're a gold digger anyway ... " ?

I think, although Talisa Soto was only 22 when they made the movie, she was quite prettier than Pam.

That would have meant reversing the roles (Felix would be the one to get killed/murdered and his widow would work with Bond).

Pam was more like James when it comes to personality and purpose. She was cold blooded and loved a thrill. Lupe was just a moll who slept around from boss to boss. Sanchez was her daddy and bossed her around but she dealt with it until Bond got there. She loved him for giving her the freedom she always wanted but he didn't love her like he thought he did. I think he lusted for her at some point but when it came down to it he couldn't toss away Pam because she was a mirror image for him.

Like Tracy she was his soul mate but unlike her she was the same as him. They were a good match.

Lupe did deserve better though. She would just continue the leaching off the President. She needed a man to keep her stable and afloat.

I don't get why Sanchez even bothered with lupe when she has been sleeping around . he could get any woman. Guess he was a bit too loyal.

Yes but some guys like to prove to others what belongs to them. Once she cheated and he cut that guys heart out she became an instant example to others that you don't mess with Franz Sanchez and you certainly don't take what's his. If he cut her loose her 'don't *beep* with Franz' status would have been worthless.

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time Del Boy, it's them that started me drinking!
