Goldeneye was made in 1995 LTK was in 1989 how does it link to it because in Goldeneye in the beginning the woman is with Bond in the car and i read some were that was a text for Bond since what happened in 1989. But us fans know what happened in 1989 it was about his good friend but you know what i mean?

At the end of LTK Leiter told Bond that "M has a job for him", and I believe that we are to assume that woman was evaluating Bond to make sure he was mentally stable and fit for duty because of his actions in the previous film. Makes total sense, after the chaos that Bond caused in the previous film I would have him evaluated as well.
