Morgan Freeman: Great actor

I don't know who he would have been up against the year this was released, but I thought Morgan Freeman gave an incredible performance in this movie. Did he receive any votes for Best Actor for the Oscars? Anybody remember who did win for Best Actor that year?

Mymovies is probably confusing him with Samuel Jackson. Both can portray intensity like no others.

The thing to me is, it's like I'm watching Joe Clark, not Morgan Freeman. He does that to me in so many movies, where it only takes a minute or two and he BECOMES these characters. The man is unbelievably talented!

I agree Morgan is a great actor. I never seen Morgan act this tough or hardcore in his other movie this one was far the best. I think he did get recognition for this movie.
