you forgot to say And that's all I'm going to say!
share100% the bathroom scene, i rewind it over and over and over again. But the end is compelling to when they're surrounding mr. clark and singing fair eastside in his honor.
shareI had a bunch of favorite scenes. When Mrs. Elliot stood up to Joe Clark. When him and Benson was arguing, and when Mrs. Lavias put him in his place.

Joe Clark tells the class before the test, that they are Ghosts who will rise. He says "ghosts are Spirits that will not Die". I love this inspiring film and enjoy this format; like "Stand and Deliver" ,it tells of a person's dedication to students and their Learning. These gentlemen Don't Quit!

when mr. darnell threatens to kick clark's ass & turns the desk over. if you ask me, tough as clark talked, he looked a little scared. lol

The school board meeting scene was excellent. I like Joe's speech.
Joe Clark: When Dr. Napier came to me offering this job, I saw the lightning flash. I heard the thunder roll! I felt breakers crashing, swamping my soul!
Leonna Barrett: [getting up again] We are NOT in church, Mr. Clark!
Joe Clark: [facing her] I fell down on my knees
[Mrs. Barrett sits down in exasperation]
Joe Clark: and I cried "My God, why has thou forsaken me?" and the Lord said "Joe, you're no damn good. No, I mean this! More than you realize, you're no earthly good at all unless you take this opportunity and do whatever you have to." And he didn't say "Joe, be polite".
[the people clap in agreement]
Joe Clark: Do whatever you have to to transform and transmogrify this school into a special place where the hearts and souls and minds of the young can rise.
[more clapping in agreement]
Joe Clark: Where they can grow tall and blossom out from under the shadows of the past. Where the minds of the young are set free. And I gave my word to God, and that's why I threw those bastards out
[the crowd starts to shout in both agreement and protest]
Joe Clark: And that's all I'm gonna say!
I like that too. It is like Darnell is doing his work and not being appreciated. If I was him, I wouldn't have come back.
shareDon't you love Clark's expression as they are singing? He is probably thinking, "What the *beep*?"
shareTwo favorite scenes - When Clark expels the 300 troublemakers and at the end when we found out the students passed the state exam and Clark told the mayor that the state could go to he**.

The whole movie was great, but the best and funniest scene was in the school cafeteria when Joe Clark started preaching at the PTA meeting. Hilarious scene:
Joe: And the Lord said, Joe? You no damn good.
I almost died laughing at that line.
My job is to inform, not persuade- Dan Rather
Joe: "Didn't I just see you downstairs with your arm around Clarice?"
Clarence: "Clarice?"
Girl: "Clarice! you hung out with THAT skeezer??"
...that scene & Joe telling Sams to jump since he wants to kill himself with crack anyway. "Don't f@<! around with it. Go ahead & do it expeditiously!"

What if Samms did jump? What would've been Clark's reaction then?
shareAt the assembly when he tells all the troublemakers to sing the School song, their reaction was hysterical!!
