Have any of you ever went to a school-

Similar to East Side high? I did. I would not exaggerate and state that the school I went to was as bad, but it was up there. I went to this middle school, (wasn't high school) but all the kids that attended damn near looked like high school students and older. There was always someone getting jumped.
One time while I was sitting in class, a tall boy randomly walked in the classroom, approached another boy that was just seats away from me, and demanded money that he was owed. Next thing I know, the boy who confronted the other boy who was sitting down, sucker punched him in the face so hard, the whole class heard it.
I used to see many girls, could not be much older than 14 or 15, 8 months pregnant.
There was always a student getting mixed up in violence and getting killed.
The girls looked so developed for their young ages, and they dressed so that the boys could see this...the list goes on and on.

My middle school was some what like it but not as bad. I remember some kids was smoking. Getting into fights almost every day and being disrespectful all the time in general. Walking the halls all day long. etc. That's pretty much normal in a lot of East coast public schools though during the 90- early 2000s.

I grew up not far from Eastside. A much better and safer town/school in comparison. But we'd get many kids who'd transfer from schools like Eastside. Also kids who leave to go to Eastside or whatever. Nowhere near as bad as anything seen in this movie but maybe somewhere inbetween. One girl my freshman year of high-school got pregnant early in the year and had to leave school. It was kinda crazy. Typically the worst kids would end up going to jail/juvie or never go to school so school itself was never too wild.
