I see why somebody find it stupid and out of place.
But I found it very funny when I first saw it in 89.
The actor has a great delivery.
So, it might sound low brow or in bad taste, but I honestly laughed at it.
I have always enjoyed it.
shareI think it's just a small loud minority who go on about the Mickey Mouse joke. Actually, I think it's really just one poster here and on IMDb over the years who made his point about it so many times that he could have led you to believe that he was several people.
shareIt can be seen as out of place because of the awkward overdub of the line. Supposedly it's originally a reference to Jesse Owens but got replaced by Mickey after the fact.
But yes, because of the delivery I think it's funny
