I didn't like it.

It was just way too campy and had too many plot holes, character errors and flat out lazy writing. Not to mention Mickey Mouse jokes.

Don't get me wrong, I loved the first two but this one seemed to have a ton of problems that the first two didn't have.

Examples please.

And I only recall one Mickey Mouse joke. So what?

Well River Phoenix can't act to save his life, Indy murders an entire boat full of people over a cross, Julian Glover, an actor who was a great James Bond villain gives a childish speech about "bedtime stories", Marcus is reduced to a bumbling idiot on the same level of Jar Jar Binks, Alison Doody was a horrible love interest and is one of the most bland actresses I have ever watched, Indy and Henry somehow make it from enemy territory all the way to Hatay with no explanation (serious plot hole), recycled Raiders plot, recycled Return of the Jedi dialogue, lame attempts at humor (don't worry, we're well out of range....BOOM, yeah like no one saw that coming), Mickey Mouse jokes and not to mention that the entire ending is impossible as Sallah's rifle disappears after he for some reason asks the Nazi's to "please" drop their weapons. Therefore all 4 of the lead characters should have been executed by the Nazis, and Crystal Skulls never should have happened because Indy should be dead.

On the surface it's easy to fall for Indy's self-righteousness about "It belongs in a museum!" but when I think about it I realize that the law was on the side of the man in white, was it not? He found the cross. It was his.

Oh well, it's still an entertaining prologue of the film. It shows Indy has evolved from all the "fortune and glory" talk.

In this movie in New York Marcus is as smart and competent as he was in Raiders of the Lost Ark. It's only when he ends up in the less than stable world outside the United States that he becomes out of his element.

I thought the humor was fine. But that's just me.

Wow, really?

The way you post here often slamming the movie I would never have guessed. 

Does it bother you so much that it's more popualr than Temple Of Doom? Awww.

I couldn't care less if Last Crusade has an IMDB score higher than Temple

Of course not, that's why you keep posting here with the same crap. 

Why the hell you posted a thread stating you didn't like it, like it's the first time you've seen it, instead of just posting the usual same ramblings is beyond me though.

reply

All I said was that I didn't like it, sorry your life is so empty that you have to silence anyone who doesn't like Last Crusade. You know it takes two to argue, if you didn't keep bumping this thread maybe it would be at the bottom of the page by now, sounds like you are battling with some insecurities.

I'd be worried about yourself. Posting constantly on the board of a 27 year old movie you supposedly hate more any other doesn't sound too healthy.

If I wanted you silenced I'd have reported you for trolling, you know instead of actually replying.

reply

"Constantly"???? Before yesterday I hadn't posted on here in months, you are the one who is trolling, constantly having to shout down any opposing opinion.

Five days ago in the very thread you started you mean.

And I don't think you know what trolling means.

reply

And before that when was the last time I posted on this board?

This f/cking bozo hasn't figured out how the Internet works.

He says he hasn't posted in months...yet all it takes is a few clicks and you find out that it's only been 6 weeks since he was last here running his usual BS.

He's a broken record. He's spent years upon years making the same posts over and over.
