I just love it the most because of the chemistry between Ford and Connery and the Holy Grail music.

The way I rank the series is Indy 3, Raiders, and Temple of Doom. Twenty miles behind it is that steaming pile of poop that came out back in 2008.
Same here. But I don't hate Crystal Skull as much as most do. I am irritated by a list of things in it, sure, but there are also things in it I do like.

Me too. This is my favourite Indy film because there's real heart and warmth to the movie, and most of that is down to the chemistry between Ford and Connery, as well as bigger roles for Denholm Elliott and John Rhys-Davis.

I like the plot, the humor, the warmth, the drama, the dialogue and some really interesting theological moments. Plus Allison Doody. She reminds me a lot of Nicole Kidman in the mid-90's. I read that Allison was considered for the role of Dr. Chase Meridian in 1995's "Batman Forever" that eventually went to Nicole.
I wouldn't have cast Nicole Kidman as a Nazi though.
shareWhile Raiders is the undisputed classic, I consider Crusade to be my personal favorite. It's the most rewatchable for me due to Ford and Connery's chemistry and the great combination of thrilling action, humor and drama.
Then again, I like the whole series (even the much derided second and fourth installments).
Raiders is by far hands down the best, a near flawless film that doesn't suffer from the poorly-thought-out dialogue, plot holes and production mistakes that weigh down Last Crusade. Last Crusade certainly has its moments, though. Temple of Doom is a distant third behind those two. I don't consider Crystal Skull to be worth mentioning with the others. It sucked. Big time.

It is my favorite IJ movie as well, and Raiders is a close second. It's mostly the combination of adventure, action, music and humor what places Last Crusade as the best one for me. And of course, Sean Connery is brilliant as Professor Henry Jones.

shareAgree 100%. The best scene for me was a toss-up between when Indy "believed"...but also his father's expression slightly earlier when he thought he had died. The way his voice broke when he hugged him tightly uttering "I thought I lost you, boy!!!!"
