I like watching true stories and I remember one many many years ago about a boy who is kidnapped by his dad then the dad put him to sleep and lit the room on fire, the boy did not die but was VERY burnt and still is to this day. Does anyone know what the movie is called or what I am talking about. Thanks.
shareI know what you're talking about. Didn't the father do that to get revenge on the mother for winning custody of the boy and it was a case of, if he couldn't have the child then no-one would? And the film focuses on the boy's rehabilitation from those terrible burns. I think the film was made some time in the Nineties but I can't remember the title.

I saw this movie as a kid in the late 80s on NBC I think when it first aired,...and I have been trying to find out the name of the movie for years....i remember it was very sad, but thats why i remembered it..............i'll see if i can find a copy of it......thanks for the info
