A few years ago. I'm positive, and the police couldn't figure out why the boy had stayed with his abductor for so long. His abductor also kidnapped another young boy (possible when the first one got too old) and then they were found.
Bit foggy on the details but the similarities are a bit strange!
This also happened a year ago in Missouri.

There is a medical term. It was mentioned in the paper when Natascha Kampusch who had been held captive for 8 years in Vienna by her abductor was found.
The top and bottom of it is that they are brain washed....they know no different and think it is 'normal' hence they have feelings or a 'love' towards their abductor.
I just hope in all seriousness that none of this has happened to little Maddie. Little Angel!
