Sisters
Anybody know if his sisters lived or are living good lives?

I don't know about his sisters, however I work as a professional musician in an opera orchestra on the west coast. There is a fellow musician in the orchestra named Steven Stayner Jr. I'd say he is in his mid-twenties, and could possibly bear a resemblance. Through conversation, he claims to have grown up in the Sacramento area. I, nor anyone else we work with would ever ask him about his father or his family unless he brings it up first, which he hasn't. If he is whom I think he is, he has grown to be a very talented musician and is doing very well in life.
Unfortunately that isnt the same person. The real Steven died in a motorcycle accident years ago.

I think you have your dates mixed up, in May, 1989 (see the article in another post) Steven Stayner's son was 2. Meaning he would be at the oldest 19 now. So, unless you're very bad at guessing ages, I doubt it's the same guy.

But who else could Steven Stayner Jr., who grew up in Sacramento, be? I'm sure it's the same guy.
By the way, his sister(Steven Stayner's daughter) has a myspace, but she vaguely mentions her brother(except his name) and her father. They also had a stepfather who died.

Actually, all I would have to do is tell you her first name and you could easily find it on Myspace. However, since I've seen the page and she clearly doesn't talk about it, I would feel bad if I told you. Sorry.
However, her name shouldn't be too hard to find. Once you do, just put it in the Myspace search and she's the only one. Sorry I couldn't tell you more, just guilt.

I saw the page, actually unless she specifically states it, which I have not seen, you have no idea if that is her. I have a very unusual name and typed it in a search engine one day and found four other people with the same first and last name as me (it was weird)! There are other people out there with the last name of Stayner who are out there.
I am just wondering what made you think it was her?
Supposedly it's www.myspace.com/ashleystayner I have no problem typing it because it's on the internet which means privacy is out the door. Not saying I am being a butt her but a Myspace, like mine, is way different than a phone number or address (which I would never put on the net).
That Ashley Stayner on Myspace would have to be Steven's Daughter. Steven was married in 1985 and died in 1989. Acording to Myspace, she is 20, which she would have been born in 1986. Also, her location is Atwater, CA, which is next to Merced and where Steven was married.

I looked her up recently and she has an old picture up of her and her parents and little brother on myspace. She seems like a real outgoing person. I'm curious about how she and her brother doing, but I want to respect her privacy and not bug her on myspace with questions.
shareBoth of the children are in the armed services. Steven jr is married with an infant son who is also named steven. he never lived on the east coast and is not a musician. he did not grow up in sacramento either. both kids have grown up to be fine adults
