How come no matter where I go, there are never any pictures of Murphy? I'm truly just curious as to what he looks like I mean they have dozens of Parnell (who looks different in each photo). Also what about Steven's sisters? Anyone have pictures of ^^
shareThis all took place back in the days before everyone had a camera at their handy disposal like today. Photos were usually only taken on occasion, or during parties, get togethers, holidays, etc..I don't think Murphy was really considered a "family friend" of Parnell, but more of an accomplice or a tool that was used by Parnell to accomplish his goal of abducting kids on their way home from school. So, there was probably no reason to really snap a picture of him, or most likely...he probably didn't allow his likeness or photographs in any publications for obvious reasons.
Something else tells me that he probably didn't come from a real supportive network of friends and family where picture taking is much more common.
There is a picture of him in the book but it's really dim but he is smoking a hand-rolled cigarette.
