Fanedits?

I just finished watching Halloween 5 - The Haddonfield Harvest fanedit by Bobson Dugnutt and it was really good. They remove some of the teen stuff, cop stuff, and Michael crying, as well as a few other changes. I’d recommend it. I don’t know about you but even though I don’t love this movie I’ll watch it a few more times before I die. The fanedit is the better way to go.

Maniac’s fanedit for Halloween 4: The Shape Returns was also excellent. They may replace the original versions in my future rewatches.

Michael goes missing after they blow up the mineshaft. They’ve searched the ruins but have found no trace of a body. The police say there’s no way he could’ve survived.

Meanwhile, Jamie’s foster family is struggling to hold together after Jamie attacked her mother with the scissors. Jamie has no memory of doing it, and Rachel is split between her foster sister and her mother, who’s beginning to believe that Jamie’s bloodline is cursed.

Unbeknownst to her family, Rachel is in contact with Dr. Loomis to keep him updated on Jamie. They both want Jamie to just have a normal upbringing, but realize that this might not be possible anymore.

Meanwhile, Jamie’s bullying at school has worsened now that it’s public knowledge that she’s the niece of a murderer. Ever since the events of Halloween 4, Jamie’s life has been falling apart. Her whole family has been shunned due to their connection to Michael Myers, with some people even blaming them for the murders.

Jamie starts to experience blackouts, random periods of amnesia where she can’t remember where she was and what she was doing. This may or may not be connected to a small series of murders around Haddonfield - it could just be Michael preparing for his return.

As Halloween approaches again, they start to hear stories, rumors about sightings of Michael. It quickly becomes clear that these are far too frequent to be unrelated incidents.

In what may or may not be a coincidence, some of the people of Haddonfield start to act rather… odd, specifically when it comes to Jamie and her foster family. (If they’re going to introduce the Cult of Thorn, they could at least sow the seeds a little rather than springing everything in part 6.)
