Hot trash

For the 80's Halloween movies, this one is the worsted. Loomis becomes a jerk, Jamie is sidelined, Tina is unbearable, Tina's friends are exceptionally abortable, and the director ruined what was good about the #4 story by adding the thorn.

It's a rotting mess of bad 80's horror.

Everyone always complains about Loomis, but imagine witnessing what Loomis witnessed. Shooting Michael 6 times in the first movie only to see him get up and walk away with no medical attention needed. Then he sets Michael on fire in the 2nd movie at the hospital and he wakes up after a 10 year coma and then gets blasted by about 20 shotgun rounds at the end of Part 4 only to come back again in Part 5.

I'd imagine anyone would go insane after seeing that. Surprised Loomis wasn't a chain smoker. But, he did take that shot of whiskey from that religious guy who picked him up in Part 4.

I actually liked him.
It made a lot more sense to me he becoming mad, rude, and deranged than anything else because that’s how Michael was in a very big sense. They all become like him.
