Man, the marketing and home video releases for this movie were such a big fail...as was the movie itself.
1. The "Revenge" of Michael Myers? Who's he getting revenge on? He doesn't get revenge, he's just out to butcher members of his bloodline and whoever gets in his way.
2. "Michael Lives. And This Time They're Ready." How? Because Jamie is psychic now? That didn't help much. She just stood by, petrified, as people died one by one.
3. "Michael Finally Unmasked." Yes, while standing in the shadows.
Not even the video box gave a crap about this movie. LOL
Oh, so he was all like, "THAT'S for hitting me with a truck" ?
Plus if you want to get technical, he took Revenge on Loomis
Not really.
and the Man in Black took out the cops
That wasn't revenge. That was an ambush.
Plenty of Revenge to go around.
Do you even know what "revenge" means?
And again, Loomis knew, he was ready.
HE was, but nobody else was.
shows the cops waiting at the Myers house.
Yep, and then they ALL took off in response to one call. Not very ready if you ask me.
Well, you see Don Shanks plain as day unmasked and unwigged when he sits up in the Hermit's house one year later in the beginning and thanks to HD technology you get a much better look than theaters at the end.
Yeah, just have that pause button ready or you'll miss it.
Had the Ghostface killers been unmasked from the get go, it would've been a much less interesting Scream series.
That was a different scenario. The Ghostface killers turned out to be other characters we saw in the movies, some believed to be friends of the protagonist.
Pretty weak defense of the movie you have here, Dave. You'd make a great lawyer.
Well, you're not exactly making a great case for yourself as a person or a movie watcher. So you shouldn't throw stones. I at least tried to make a case for it, so far everyone else has ignored you. BTW your rebuttals are pretty weak.
Michael went after Laurie in II because she got away in the first film. She also inflicted damage on Michael. So you can say II was his revenge on Laurie. Same thing happened with Rachel.
Michael never really got to Loomis for blowing him up in II but he did get his hands on him in 5, for the first time in the series. "Not really"? Is that the best you can come up with? How long did it take for you to think of that?
Instead of insulting people who are at the very least trying to make conversation with you, you should be more respectful and less of an ass. JMO.
The cops thought Michael was still at the hospital or at the very least needed to aid the victims. The plan was to move them to the station, where more cops were. Loomis put a stop to that.
And you don't need pause, just a screen bigger than 26" which is what my TV is. Plain as day.
Finally, you'd never pass the bar, much less be a lawyer with your less than intelligent, thought out remarks.
"He came home." - Dr. Sam Loomis from the original HalloweeN
He wasn't seeking "revenge" on Laurie, he came back to Haddonfield in the first place to kill the next member in his bloodline, who so happened to be her. In Halloween II, he was picking up where he left off.
And you don't need pause, just a screen bigger than 26" which is what my TV is. Plain as day.
You gonna buy me one?
