Had the Ghostface killers been unmasked from the get go, it would've been a much less interesting Scream series.
That was a different scenario. The Ghostface killers turned out to be other characters we saw in the movies, some believed to be friends of the protagonist.

Well, you're not exactly making a great case for yourself as a person or a movie watcher. So you shouldn't throw stones. I at least tried to make a case for it, so far everyone else has ignored you. BTW your rebuttals are pretty weak.
Michael went after Laurie in II because she got away in the first film. She also inflicted damage on Michael. So you can say II was his revenge on Laurie. Same thing happened with Rachel.
Michael never really got to Loomis for blowing him up in II but he did get his hands on him in 5, for the first time in the series. "Not really"? Is that the best you can come up with? How long did it take for you to think of that?
Instead of insulting people who are at the very least trying to make conversation with you, you should be more respectful and less of an ass. JMO.
The cops thought Michael was still at the hospital or at the very least needed to aid the victims. The plan was to move them to the station, where more cops were. Loomis put a stop to that.
And you don't need pause, just a screen bigger than 26" which is what my TV is. Plain as day.

He wasn't seeking "revenge" on Laurie, he came back to Haddonfield in the first place to kill the next member in his bloodline, who so happened to be her. In Halloween II, he was picking up where he left off.
