....Jamie DID NOT kill her adoptive mom!
I've seen some posts where people complain that Jamie killed her adoptive mom at the end of Part 4, so how could she be alive in Part 5.
Um, we never SEE her mom killed. And the flashback shown in Part 5 clearly shows the scissors stabbing her in the shoulder & very upper chest only.
So she could quite easily have survived.

I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus.
Didn't he discover America?

I'm watching it right now and near the beginning Dr Loomis clearly says that she "hurt" her mom. Nothing about her killing anyone.

I never thought her step-mom was killed. It's been obvious to me she wasn't dead each time I've seen it. The idea never even occurred to me. I'm surprised some people believe that.

It's clear she survived. Rachel even tells Jamie before she leaves the clinic that both her mom and dad gives Jamie their love.
