I know the sequence in the beginning with the hermit in the shack was completely reshot with a different actor. Also in the Don Shanks commentary he says that they shot scenes of Michael killing the people at the clinic.Curious why none of these deleted scenes have never popped up in any releases.I would love to see them.
The scene with the alternate opening was on the original featurette of Halloween 5 Divimax edition Inside Halloween 5 I think it was called. Basically it's just some weird looking guy finiding Michael in a field and taking off his mask.
As for the clinic massacre, either they lost the negative or felt it was like the police station massacres and didn't need to be seen. The actors and actresses who spoke got paid, but I'm sure the unspeaking extras didn't and I don't know how releasing footage of that would affect residuals, etc. But I think if someone where to be released on film in any form, they'd want to get paid, if they could be found or step for it.
Not worth the hassle of all that.

I have the script and it shows Jamie seeing Michael looking in on Billy and the sheets showing a dead body. That's it. Must've been added during shooting.
But that's the only place it's ever been seen. Not in previous releases. Took them long enough. There was plenty filmed, such as the whole different opening, that never saw daylight. A lot on the cutting room floor not even in the making of.
