Deleted Footage That we have never seen But will we ever see it?

If you ever watch the Television add for Halloween 5 you will notice that there is a brief clip of Michael putting his hand through police car and attacking the cops. This was never shown in the theatrical cut and never has been included in the deleted scenes.

There is also the footage that Daniel talks about when her character Jamie gets stabbed in the leg that was edited out as well. Love to see this stuff..

I really believe there was quite a bit of footage cut out from this movie and would love to see it all one day... if you ever see the longer rarer Trailer for the movie it shows some other deleted things like some shots of Michael stalking in the barn which don't appear in the movie and a few shots of Myers POV during Rachael's death that don't appear, an alternate shot of Michael pitch forking Spitz and Etc.

Here's the trailer:

I think the dead should shut up, unless there's something to say.

I woulda thought they would have hunted down deleted scenes and put them on the box set or one of the dvd editions over the years?

Since we didn't see it in the box set, it is likely it won't be released, then again, I said that about a legal version of 6's producer's cut. I think all we'll ever see of Meeker is what we saw in the theatrical release, laying their dead after the fact.

Only known shot of Meekers death, Apprently there's a higher quality picture in the Limited Edition DVD Tin from long ago but I don't own that.

There's also this for anyone interested, for a few years in what time I've had to track this down, I've been unsuccessful. there's some interesting behind the scenes footage and from what I've heard this has alot of behind the scenes shooting the original hermit opening stuff and a few others things that didn't make the movie. Speaking of that the Halloween 25 DVD has a short little making of scene of the hermit scene somewhere in there that's not present anywhere else.

In the dvd commentary... It's the old version the show a deleted scene.

In the beginning instead of him being found by the hermit... He is found by a young guy in rags it's his twin!!!!! He unmasks Michael to show us his real face...

The man in black was supposed to be his twin following him around.

But they deleted that scene thinking it would've raised to many questions...

From the scripts I've read it didn't seem to be Michael's twin who was the hermit that found him, it seems it was just some skinny guy who had occult items such as an Egyptian Spell Book or something of that matter, and he brought Michael back by the power of tattooing the Thorn rune to his wrist, chanting a spell and having some stone swinging above Michael, the idea of Michael's twin was a little bit later on I'm sure cause the scenes with the man in black where filmed much later on, remember the script was never completed, read the first available script the ending is literally half a page of just Ben meeker's view in the police station explaining there's been an explosion and Michael has escaped and that's it.

I think when the original opening was re-shot for the hermit with the parrot, they decided they needed some kind of cliffhanger to continue on with since they had taken out the resurrection of Michael but still showed the thorn symbol on his wrist, thus his twin brother was implied, Don Shanks has said before that they shot footage that would have explained this in H6 had Dominique directed it.

It would be nice one day if there was a documentary about the footage that was cut from the Halloween films and then include those cut scenes

Just that one, though. All the other Fridays had similar cuts but were never re-released unrated. As it is, This is Halloween 5's fourth or fifth disc release, 2 DVDs , 2 Blu Rays I think, by now an uncut Halloween 5 is late and another cash grab.

Anyone notice this picture posted to Halloween Movies Twitter and Facebook page

Doesn't really look like the guy that was Dr. Death in the behind the scenes footage.

Hard to tell. He kinda does look like the guy seen in Inside Halloween 5 original DVD featurette leaning over Michael, taking off his mask and feeling the body/blood. But I could be wrong.
