It has better pacing, better villain, actual memorable quotes like that talking about lunch part, better effects, actual scary stuff like the first, some actual humor that isn't poop jokes or fart jokes, a sense of edge to it which that reboot lacks and some actual effort unlike that soulless identity politics pandering unfunny poorly written/paced piece of shit from 2016

shareI'm watching Ghostbusters 2 right now, for the first time since it was a new film in theaters, and I'll tell you... I remember this being a lousy film at the time, but man what a turkey. It's slime time this is easily the worst of the three Ghostbusters films to date. I'm seeing the new one tonight, and have high hopes, but there's no way it could be worse than this thing.
shareFrankly i didn't even know that people thought Ghostbusters was bad until the internet became a thing. To me its not that bad. No its not as good as the 84 movie. I didn't expected to be. For what it is, its a pretty enjoyable movie. And at least it doesn't have Dance Number where one of the Cast members totally embarrasses himself and tons of bad improv like in 2016 movie.
